Turing Modern: The Gallery of Algorithmic Art
Welcome to Turing Modern: the Gallery of Algorithmic Art. All the art works in this gallery depict or are otherwise inspired by computer algorithms. Wander round the gallery just to look at the pictures as art, or alternatively look at the pictures as puzzles. If you know the algorithm depicted then the puzzle is "What is the relationship between the algorithm and the picture?" If you do not know the algorithm in detail then can you work it out from the pictures about it?
We hope you will find pleasure in the gallery and also that it will make you think more about the algorithms and help lead you to understanding of them. The gallery is new and so currently only has a few aquisitions but we welcome donations to add to the gallery.
Our first exhibition is of works by Paul Curzon, founder and curator of the gallery.
