Download Mushroom

The code developed in Mushroom is made available to all interested parties according to our Open Source policy.

The Mushroom platform is written entirely in Java 1.2, but since 1998 we have concentrated our development efforts on the Windows-NT version, and do not have the resources to support other platforms. However, we believe that Mushroom could be coerced onto other platforms - please let us know if you succeed.

Mushroom will be updated, and revised documentation will become available. We strongly recommend that you join the Mushroom distribution mailing list to receive information about such events.

You can join the mailing list by emailing majordomo@dcs.qmw.ac.uk with the body of the email containing:

subscribe mushroom-dist followed by your full email address.

e.g. subscribe mushroom-dist foo@blah.qmw.ac.uk.

Extremely limited email assistance can be obtained from the Mushroom systems development team when we have the resources to reply.
