Location

Before each recording session we will meet outside the queen mary student union (under the bridge if it's raining) on bancroft road - see the red circle on the map below; the postcode is E1 4DH.

meeting point map

We are situated between stepney green and mile end tube stations, with stepney green the closest - more transport info can be found on the queen mary location webpage. For those of you travelling by car, there is free roadside parking on bancroft road after 1730 on weekdays - i recommend the rac routeplanner for directions.

Review

We will also ask to visit each participant individually (at a time and place convenient for you) to review the video footage and identify points where the improvisation was going well/not well, and to talk about the sessions. each review lasts between 30 and 60 minutes.

Ethics

Our work requires clearance by the ethics committee at Queen Mary, and we will ask you to complete a consent form which allows us access to the sound and video recordings for analysis and presentation.

You will receive copies of the sound and video recordings on CD.

In most cases participants will also receive payments to help with the costs of travelling to our recording studio.
