Using The Breeding Box

1.    To start the Breeding Box program, locate the application through the start menu, choose 'Programs/All Programs' and look for the program folder 'Sodarace Evolution' or the folder name you chose during installation if you did not accept the default name. Then click on 'Breeding Box', as highlighted above to start the program.

2.    You should then see the window above appear, you should also notice another window, that appears minimized, this is an ms-dos window and it is perfectly normal and is required in order to start the program. Once the window is loaded you can choose two parents and cross them over in order to produce a child.

3. Click on the button 'First parent' on the right hand side to bring up the file browser window, you should be at the 'Racers' folder by default, you can choose a racer from here or go to 'BreedingExamples' folder which contains a good number of pre-tested racers which guarantee a similar child to the parents. In order to get a good child try using creatures from the same family (e.g. Daintywalkers).
